This disorder deals with mental health. The person often feels the urge to move their legs even when they are sleeping. Moreover, there are other sensations such as itching, tingling, or burning in the legs. The person might not be able to sleep properly as they are constantly focused on their legs and not on any other body part.

  1. REM Sleep Behavior Disorder

In REM disorder, people often duplicate the actions from dreams in their sleep. They do not have control over their limbs and they keep on moving them constantly. However, the condition can get serious, if start walking or running in their sleep.

The non-medical treatments would include various options that are related to lifestyle. For example, reducing the intake of coffee or performing exercises and meditation on a regular basis. Moreover, there are different types of therapy available on the market that will help in reducing stress. The stress reduction would lead to good quality of sleep.

Sleep disorders mostly happen in adults. The major cause can be work-life balance, mental health issues, or stress. Adults are more prone to getting affected because they have to live life-based on various needs. They have to balance their personal and professional life along with taking care of their family. Thus, in such conditions, there are chances that they would get affected by stress quite often and that might lead to major crises in life.
